The island of Oahu is home to a wide variety of spectacular natural wonders best viewed from the sky on this royal tour. You begin with the heights of the Waikiki skyline along the sultry sands of the most famous beach in the Pacific. Oahu's crown, Diamond Head, pops into view presiding over the island known as The Gathering Place. As you pass over the ridges of the Leeward coast, Hanauma Bay appears below and gentle beaches transform into rugged volcanic cliffs, carved over millennia by sun, surf, and rain. You continue on this regal tour by flying over top of the charming Makapu’u lighthouse. The island’s Windward Coast awaits where you will see the incredible Ko’olau mountains standing watch above Lanikai Beach – often called the most marvelous beach in the world – and the offshore sandbars and coral formations that make Kaneohe Bay one of the most picturesque places on Earth. Fly past Chinaman’s Hat, and view with awe the succulent Ka’a’awa Valley before you. As the mountains approach, you fly in close to see the magnificent waters of Sacred Falls tumble over 1000 feet to the rainforest below. From there it is on to the world famous North Shore where you can see the surfers challenge the waves at Banzai Pipeline and Waimea Bay. You complete the circle of Oahu by turning inland and passing over the beautiful pineapple maze at the Dole Plantation. This incredible tour doesn't end until you have completed a solemn pass over Pearl Harbor and the USS Arizona Memorial.

This incredible tour begins at the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center.  Your Tour Guide will take you on a journey back to December 7th, 1941 and provide you with the complete story of the attack on Pearl Harbor; the day that launched the United States into World War II. This great tour includes the entire Pearl Harbor Visitor Center experience; its two museums and movie documentaries.
We will also be touring the legendary submarine USS Bowfin. The formidable submarine USS Bowfin sank 44 enemy ships in nine war patrols during WWII, earning the nickname, “The Pearl Harbor Avenger”. Your tour includes the Bowfin’s official audio tour that you will take inside the submarine where you will learn how the 88 sailors and officers worked and lived in such tight quarters, how most of the crew smoked and were unable to take showers for up to four months at a time while on their war patrols. The Battleship Missouri or the "Mighty Mo" as she is fondly called, was the last major battleship built by the US, who's 50-year career spanned three wars and three generations of brave American fighting men and women. Waikiki's white-sand beaches are not Oahu's only amazing attractions. No trip is complete without seeing Oahu's iconic mountain peaks. This 30 minute helicopter tour offers views of Diamond Head, the three peaks of Mt. Olomana, and Nu'uanu Pali. Along the way, you will also see the emerald waters of Haunama Bay, the lighthouse at Makapu'u Point and Pearl Harbor.

The lush tropical vegetation of the Nu’uanu Valley masks a secret: Oahu was born from fire. The best way to appreciate the incredible beauty the immense flows of lava produced is through the air. Your helicopter sightseeing experience begins over the island’s South Shore so you can see the Honolulu skyline and Diamond Head crater in a way not possible from the beach. Hanauma Bay’s sheltered waters and incredible coral reefs pass below you as you soar among the nearby cliffs and volcanic outcroppings – the remnants of the island’s volcanic birth. Rounding Makapu’u Point, you follow the Windward Coast and its long stretches of white sand beaches and turquoise waters as they lead you towards the gorgeous mountains beyond. Turning inward you pass the three sharp peaks of famous Mt. Olomana, characteristic of its English translation, “divided hill.” A breathtaking passage through the Nu’uanu Pali cliffs and the lush rainforests that lie within leads you back to the Leeward side of the island and Pearl Harbor. The flight ends with a pass over the USS Arizona Memorial and a new appreciation of Oahu's volcanic origins and its spectacular terrain.
