Enjoy this private 4-5 hours tour to Pearl Harbor/Arizona Memorial and Honolulu Metropolitan Area. First, go to one of the United States' most important historical sights: Pearl Harbor and National Cemetery of the Pacific - Punchbowl Crater. You will travel in comfort on board an air-conditioned minivan and learn about the atrocities that happened on the island of Oahu. You will also get a tour of Honolulu City, including a visit to Aloha Market Place, The Business District of Honolulu, Chinatown, Iolani Palace and King Kamehameha Statue. This tour also includes a professional knowledgeable tour guide and entrance fees.

USS Arizona Memorial marks the resting ground of 1,102 of the 1,177 sailors and Marines killed on USS Arizona (BB-39) during the Japanese surprise attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7th, 1941.

This attack on Pearl Harbor and the island of Oahu led to the United States’ direct involvement in WWII. The memorial was built in 1962 and is currently visited by more than 2 million people every year. It is operated by National Park Service and the entry tickets for this historical site are free of charge. The only downfall is that the lines in front of the Visitor’s Center are several miles long starting at 5:00am every morning. Your tickets will be reserved and secured to ensure your visit goes as planned.

Your tour guide/private driver will pick you up in a luxury Mercedes Minivan from your hotel in Waikiki or else where on the island. Your tickets will be reserved in advance and you don't have to worry about waiting on line in front of the visitor center.

Your driver will accompany you during your visits to USS Arizona Memorial and will make sure that you utilize your time in the best possible way without getting lost among the many options available in Pearl Harbor.

You will also be offered a city tour of Honolulu which includes stops at the following locations:
- Aloha Tower market place
- King Kamehameha Statue, first King that united the Hawaiian Islands into one royal Kingdom in 1810
- Iolani Palace - the royal residence of the rulers of the Kingdom of Hawaii (1845 -1893)
- PunchBowl cemetery
- Bishop Squire, the business district of Hawaii

Circle the island on this all encompassing tour that gives you a greater understanding of Hawaii Island life and the people and places that make up this beautiful land. Learn how the geologic makeup of the island is connected to Hawaii's ancient cultural past.

Tours depart daily from the Kona/Waikoloa areas at 6:00 AM. We then make our way South through Kona and along highway 11 to Pu’uhonua O Honaunau National Historic Park. Home to some of the Hawaii’s most significant traditional Hawaiian sites on the islands. Our first stop is here for a continental breakfast and to learn more about this ancient site.

After exploring this sacred site our journey continues South to Punulu’u Black Sand Beach for views of the endangered green sea turtles (Honu) sunning themselves on the warm black beach. Less than an hour away is Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Upon arriving at the park the group will get a front row view of the current eruption of Kilauea volcano. We then take time to explore the park with short hike to learn more about Hawaii’s only UNESCO World Heritage Site and geologic wonder. Before leaving we break for lunch and a chance for souvenir shopping.

Continuing on highway 11 takes us to Hawaii’s second largest city, Hilo. Guests will be treated to quick tour of this historic area along with a stop at beautiful Rainbow Falls.

The next part of our journey along the Hamakua coast (hwy 19), is one of the most beautiful drives on the island. Sites to look forward to along the way can include Onomea Bay, Laupahoehoe State Park, The Hawaiian Vanilla Company, and the Waipio Valley Lookout.

As our circle island journey comes to a close we make our way through Waimea and down to Kawaihae and the Kohala coast. A final stop at Pu’ukohola Heiau is where we bring our day to a close before the short drive back to the hotel.

Tour length is 12 hours.

This tour is a great day for the whole family to enjoy, your guide will be introducing you to the island in a very local way.

Here’s a little more about where you're going during this Half Circle Island Tour (there are some secret destinations also not published):
• Hanauma Bay: View the clearest waters of Oahu’s marine sanctuary, your guide will explain this natural wonder and the marine life that inhabit this very special place on Oahu giving you a great opportunity to get some beautiful pictures.
• Lanai Look Out: With stunning views of the waves and coastline, this lookout is named for one of the islands you can see during a clear morning. If on a clear day you will be able to see Maui, Molokai and even the Big Island when you walk down the lookout safely with your Guide.
• Halona Cove & Blow Hole: This natural water feature is amazing to witness. Seawater is pushed up through a lava tube in the volcanic rock and shoots into the air like a geyser. This is best viewed during high tide and windy weather, but is a beautiful lookout spot as many Movies like 50 First Dates and the Lost TV Series had been filmed at Halona Cove.
• Makapuu Lookout: Enjoy gorgeous views of Oahu’s East shore here, including Rabbit Island and the Mokulua Islands. This lookout is ideal for whale watching during the winter months and gives a great perspective of the war preparation with Military Pillboxes that line the mountain side which you and your guide will explore.
• Waimanalo Beach: Another gorgeous slice of paradise, Waimanalo Beach stretches for miles and has calm turquoise waters to refresh in. This area is a great respite from the crowds of Waikiki, so relax and unwind here on Oahu’s east side
