See all the Big Island’s highlights in a fun, adventurous way on this 3-day camping tour. Snorkel in Kona, hike through Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, explore a lush rainforest filled with waterfalls, and relax in natural hot pools. You’ll camp under the stars in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and learn about Hawaii’s history and culture from your knowledgeable guide. All equipment and transportation are included; a shopping stop is made for food.

After pickup from your Kona or Waikoloa hotel, embark on your exciting 3-day tour of the Big Island! Snorkel in Kona to discover native marine life like sea turtles, tropical fish, eels and stingrays. Hike through a verdant rainforest; visit famous Naha Stone, considered one of the Hawaiian Islands’ greatest historical relics; and take a relaxing dip in a natural hot pool. You’ll camp in a beautiful park and wake up to a gorgeous Hawaiian sunrise.

On your second day, explore tide pools and enjoy a moderate hike through lava tubes and along steam vents in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. See fascinating Hawaiian petroglyphs and learn about the area’s significance from your knowledgeable guide. You'll camp overnight in this famous park under a canopy of stars.

The next day, head to Punalu'u Black Sand Beach to visit a Hawaiian temple and spot sea turtles lounging on the black sand. See the famous Captain Cook Monument in Pu'uhonua o Hōnaunau National Historical Park and continue back to Kona for more snorkeling. Top it off with a coffee tasting during a tour of a Kona coffee farm before arriving back at your hotel.

Our tour packages are all-inclusive, including accommodation, transportation, excursions and meals. We also offer optional activities such as helicopter, Na Pali Coast boat tours and Hawaiian Luaus. You’ll also receive a free video at the end of your trip documenting your Hawaiian adventure.

Day 1..We will greet you at the Lihue Airport and shuttle you back to the property. Then we will go to the beach so you can enjoy your first sunset in paradise.


Day 2..Explore the North Shore together. We will stop at all the view areas, seeing the famous Hanalei Valley and surrounding mountains. Finally we will arrive at the beginning of the Napali Coast hiking trail where we will hike the two miles of the trail to the first beach at Hanakapai.


Day 3.. Set out for the 4 waterfalls in a day tour. Hiku falls, Hopi falls, Opaekaa falls and Waialulu falls are all on our itinerary. Be prepared to get wet and feel what it is like swimming in your own private lagoon with a majestic waterfall in the background. Return back home for a fantastic lunch, then grab your snorkel gear and beach towels for a relaxing day at the beach.


Day 4.. We will drive together to a Hawaiian Village and take off for a 6 hour Kayaking adventure up the Waialua river. Here we will explore the jungles of Kauai, search out secret waterfalls, see ancient Hawaiian fern grottos and cross mighty rivers like a tribe of natives. Then off to the blue room cave which is a collapsed lava tube with a freshwater lagoon at the bottom. Once we return back home we will arrange the group so that people who want to go experience a traditional Hawaiian Luau can be ready for this amazing event.


Day 5.. Next a Helicopter ride be uplifted like the birds soaring above the Napali coast. You will experience a part of Kauai that has made this island world famous. Please be advised that the Helicopter portion of this adventure is not included in the price.

Then off to Poipu to do some last minute gift shopping and nature exploring at the world famous Spouting Horn, Poipu Arch and my favorite beach, Shipwrecks. If we have time before the sunset we can explore the sea caves that dot the coastline through the network of secret paths that I have explored since my childhood.


Day 6.. The view from the ocean of the Napali coast  a boat cruise is incredible. You will also have the opportunity to see bottle nosed dolphins riding the bow of your boat and if it happens to be whale season then watching humpback whales doing full body breaches out of the water is an awe inspiring experience. Please be advised that the Boat portion of this adventure is not included in the price. For those of you who wish to stay behind the we will go to Polihali for another amazing beach day while swimming in ancient Hawaiian fishponds.


Day 7..Wake up and enjoy a complete breakfast together as a group, talk about the day's adventure where we will focus on packing up and then shuttling everyone back to the airport

On this 2-day Big Island adventure from Kona or Waikoloa, you’ll go snorkeling, tour a Kona coffee farm and enjoy a coffee tasting, and take guided hikes to an ancient Hawaiian temple and through a lava tube and lush rainforest. Camp under a canopy of stars in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and learn about Hawaii’s history and culture from your knowledgeable guide. Day 1: Waikoloa or Kona -- Punalu’u Beach Park -- Hawaii Volcanoes National Park
After pickup from Waikoloa or Kona, you’ll head by comfortable vehicle to one of Hawaii’s premier snorkel spots. Stop to snorkel and discover local marine life before continuing south to a Kona coffee farm, where you’ll take a guided tour and sample some gourmet Kona coffee.

Drive south along the western coast and around the southern tip of the island to Punalu’u Beach Park, where you’ll see turtles basking on a black sand. Enjoy a light hike to an ancient Hawaiian heiau (temple) with your guide and then drive to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, where the views are spectacular.

In the evening, you’ll arrive at Halemaumau Crater, a lava lake where Pele, the goddess of fire, is said to live. Visit a local restaurant for dinner (your expense). You’ll camp here under a blanket of stars – a perfect way to end your day.

Overnight: Campground in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park

Day 2: Hawaii Volcanoes National Park – Hilo -- Waikoloa or Kona
Start your day with your guide teaching you about the lava lake, the surrounding volcanoes and Hawaiian culture while on your way to Thurston Lava Tube. Get out your flashlight to explore the underground cave created by lava!

Hop in the car and continue north along the eastern coast Hilo. Your guide will point out an ancient stone that’s said to have changed the history of the Hawaiian Islands and the destiny of one of the greatest Hawaiian kings.

While admiring ocean views in Hilo, enjoy a light hike to the Rainbow Falls lookout point to marvel at scenic views and then take a moderate hike into a lush rainforest.

Round your way back over to the west side of the island and stop at a pristine beach to swim in the warm Pacific waters. You’ll then be dropped off at your hotel.
