Beyond the modern metropolis of Honolulu’s world-class shopping and dining, Oahu’s breathtaking scenery awaits. On Blue Hawaiian's new 60-minute Oahu-Complete Island tour, you'll see it all—Diamond Head's extinct volcanic crater, the pristine coral reefs of Kaneohe Bay, the landmark of Chinaman's Hat, the "Jurassic Park"-like cliffs of the Nuuanu Rainforest, the breathtaking North Shore and Sacred Falls, the panoramic Dole Plantation, and of course the unmatched power and emotion of Pearl Harbor and the Arizona Memorial. Plus, on this tour you'll also view the 4000 foot Waianae mountain range and the rustic Leeward Coast—home to the luxurious Ko Olina resort area, Makaha Beach (where big wave surfing began), and Yokohama Bay. Blue Hawaiian's Oahu-Complete Island tour. Experience the full range of Oahu's amazing hidden secrets, the way they should be seen.

Nothing is more seductive than beautiful Waikiki Beach, except a beautiful tour above Waikiki Beach! You'll enjoy lilting Hawaiian music through Bose aviation-grade noise-canceling headsets, while your expert Blue Hawaiian pilot, a State of Hawaii Certified Tour Guide, lifts you gently into the blue skies of Oahu. Cruise past such framed hotels as the Royal Hawaiian, the Halekulani, the Moana Surfrider, and more; see the gorgeous tableau of Waikiki's white sands, palm trees, and gentle surf, framed against the majestic volcanic crater of Diamond Head.

Yet Waikiki Beach is just the beginning of Oahu's countless treasures. The scenery of this unique island has appeared in scores of Hollywood films and television series, such as Pearl Harbor, Jurassic Park, The Lost World, George of the Jungle, Pirates of the Caribbean III, Lost and more In fact, Blue Hawaiian flew aerial photography for all of these blockbuster productions, and for many more film and television projects across the Hawaiian Islands.

So get ready, because a succession of stunning sights, like a string of glittering pearls, awaits you: Honolulu Harbor, graced by picturesque Aloha Tower; heart-tugging Punchbowl, the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific; and the splendid crescent of Hanauma Bay. Gliding eastward, it's like you've gone to another world- a world that truly can be appreciated only from the panoramic cockpit of an Eco-Star helicopter: you'll be amazed by the spectacular coastline, the Makapuu Point and lighthouse, Mount Olomana, legendary "Chinaman's Hat" (proper name, Mokoli'i), and the soaring Nuuani Pali- where Blue Hawaiian helped capture some of the most powerful images in the film Pearl Harbor-and the lust and dense Nuuanu Valley Rainforest. Then it's up the breathtaking coastline to Sacred Falls and the expansive Dole Pineapple Plantations.

Finally, no tour of Oahu would be complete without the inspirational nostalgia of Pearl Harbor. Here is the emotions epicenter of American pride in our nation's endurance and ultimate victory in World war II, with its haunting Arizona Memorial-symbol of the beginning of the way- and the mighty U.S.S. Missouri, where the surrender was signed. Every year, millions of people make a timeless pilgrimage of gratitude and homage to this hallowed place, yet now you can see it all with the perspective you can only get from the air. Unforgettable!

This is a fully guided small group  hike to see the entry of lava into the ocean and possibly liquid flowing lava up close and personal.
This tour is not for the faint of heart and involves extensive hiking 4.5 miles in and 4.5 miles out. But it is definitely your best chance to see lava flowing and lava breakouts from Pu'u O'o vent on Kilaueau crater. The narrated tour also includes Saddle Road, Mauna Kea State Park, the 1984 lava flow from Mauna Loa, Hilo highlights and Rainbow Falls. Experience lava flows into Pahoa (2014), Kaimu Black Sand Beach, and Kalapana. Hikeapproximately 10 miles, mostly along coastal evacuation roads to see the lava flows, then up across very recent lava to look for potential breakouts of flowing lava with your experienced guide where a picnic style dinner on the lava is included.

Leave your Kona or Waikoloa resort or hotel in style in our new high-ceiling Mercedes Benz luxury van.  Your local guide will entertain you with information about the current, past and history of Hawaii as you climb initially to the height of 2000m or 6500 feet.  First we'll make a brief

Our next stop will be the historic town of Pahoa, where we can see where lava met the town in 2014 and threatened her existence. From Pahoa, we head straight for a quick hike to Kaimu, previously site of the most beautiful black sand beach in Hawaii before it was covered by Pele's eruption in 1990.  We'll spend some time enjoying the new black sand beach at Kaimu and then  straight to the Kalapana trailhead to begin our hike out to see the
active flow. The hike is approximately 2.5 miles each way along a gravel road that passes near
devastated town of Kalapana and the ocean. It's not an easy hike - the terrain is level for most of it but the payoff is often breathtaking!  Recently lava entering the ocean provides a show of steam and sometimes visible flowing lava. We will also take a hike up the pali and onto the lava fields for a picnic-style dinner, photos and possible lava “breakout” moments before beginning our hike back to the van for the ride home.
